The Process

How the 2027 application will work

When formal applications open, here is the shape of the process — from first preview to the award itself.

    Preview

    You can read the application format now. Formal submissions are not open yet.

  2. 02

    Opening

    Applications will open ahead of the 2027 award cycle. The opening date will be announced on this site.

  3. 03

    Review

    Each application will be read carefully. We look first for dream, then commitment, then potential, then character.

  4. 04

    Selection

    One recipient will be chosen for the first award cycle. If no recipient is chosen in a given year, we will say so publicly and explain why.

  5. 05

    Award

    The first award begins at €500, approximately ₹55,000. It is founder funded and carries no fee, donation requirement, or administrative deduction.

Who may apply

Anyone in India with a meaningful pursuit may apply, regardless of age, degree, institution, field, or background. The fund is open to education, sports, music, arts, science, technology, entrepreneurship, craftsmanship, community work, and any serious path of commitment.

Who may not

Family members, friends, professional contacts, or anyone with a personal or financial relationship to the founder or future advisory board are not eligible.

Can I nominate someone?

Yes, once applications formally open. A nomination should help us notice someone, but the person being nominated will still need to consent and share their own story before being considered.
